Our Founders
Reliance Events Services was founded by Irina and Yousef, both of whom have extensive backgrounds in the security industry, with over four decades of combined experience. Irina’s journey began in 2007 in the heart of Brixton, while Yousef’s career took him to the Royal Albert Hall, working with A-list celebrities, the Royal Variety Performance, and even the 2012 Olympics, overseeing security for the BBC TV crew during major events.
Together, Irina and Yousef bring a wealth of knowledge, having worked across multiple sectors, including private events, corporate functions, retail, hospitality, and large-scale public events. Their combined experience in high-profile settings and their commitment to excellence has formed the backbone of Reliance Events Services, ensuring every client receives the highest level of care and attention.
Our Team
Our security team consists of more than 25 highly skilled professionals, each with their own area of expertise. From crowd management and surveillance to VIP escorting and emergency response, we have the right people for every situation. All our staff undergoes rigorous training, including first aid, anti-terrorism, and fire risk assessment certifications, ensuring they are always prepared to handle any situation with efficiency and professionalism.

We take our responsibility seriously when it comes to protecting both the individuals attending your event and the surrounding community. As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, we strongly support the Ask for Angela campaign, which provides a discreet way for individuals to seek help if they feel unsafe. In addition, we integrate the WAVE Programme into our training to ensure our staff are equipped to recognise vulnerability and respond appropriately.
WAVE training focuses on customer welfare and helps staff identify and intervene when someone may be at risk, reducing the likelihood of harm. By prioritising vulnerability awareness, we foster a safe environment where individuals can feel secure and supported.
